SEO Editor, talkSPORT

We are looking for an SEO specialist with a passion for sport to join talkSPORT’s growing digital team. You will preside over talkSPORT’s online coverage of major sports events and ensure stories rank highly on search engines, driving more traffic to the website and growing new audiences. You will monitor trending data and be required to anticipate event-related queries on search engines, preparing content accordingly.

Requirements include:

  • An excellent understanding of the principles of SEO
  • The ability to generate your own ideas from sporting events
  • Be knowledgeable about sport, particularly football and boxing
  • A proven track record of increasing traffic to a website
  • Willingness to work weekends and evenings and around major sports events
  • An NCTJ qualification or journalism degree
