The Sunday Times is recruiting a Health Correspondent to join the news desk.
The Health Correspondent is expected to have a good insight and knowledge of the Health arena and bring stories which affect our readers to life. They will have a strong contact book which will ensure that we are getting the exclusive stories and leads on interesting investigations which will interest our readers.
The Health Correspondent will be expected to pitch ideas which also focus on the political angle of Health and form investigations into Healthcare provision. They will also need to consider how they can illustrate their stories with graphics, pictures and multimedia. The ability to promote stories via social media is also a requirement.
Good experience on a national newspaper / agency
Self-starter with a nose for a story and a determination to succeed
Willingness to work flexible hours
Unflappable under pressure and delivers work at a consistently high standard.
