The Campaign Management Team
Every week we communicate with millions of our customers for each of our brands and products. That could be a series of communications to try and persuade a reader to become a member, it could be an email trying to get customers to collect tokens for our fantastic £9.50 holiday promotion, or it could simply be a cross-sell communication promoting our wine club.
The Campaign Management team exists to make these CRM communications happen – working with the marketing owners to decide the what, when, who and how, building a plan around the customer, defining the contact rules and then ensuring we execute the activity brilliantly and measure the outcomes.
What are my Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Responsible for taking the CRM campaigns to Market: being clear on what is required to produce a brief to build a campaign and what it seeks to achieve (including segmentation, channel and frequency) and develop clear campaign metrics that will be effectively measured for success.
Responsible for ensuring that campaigns are end to end managed: CRM Campaigns are set up and managed successfully and that the key campaign metrics (e.g.: brand metric, ROI, response) are achieved.
Work with the other Campaign Manager to deliver a clear schedule of activity reflecting the laydown and ensure this is communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Working with the outsourced Campaign Delivery Team based in Barcelona to resolve queries that might arise.
Work closely with the marketing teams to provide relevant updates on activity and achievements that deliver against objectives and will shape the future laydown.
Work with the Marketing & CRM Analyst to understand targets, campaign insight and other trends/insights that can be used to optimise campaigns across all channels
Work with Creative Team (PULSE) to optimise creative delivery and processes
Identify the very best way to contact customers within an agreed contact strategy to achieve a specific agreed result; integrating multiple channels and utilising data and technology.
Assist the Campaign Planning manager to define the requirements for predictive and descriptive statistical models for the purpose of targeting customers, and ensures they are correctly utilised within campaigns.
What do I Know Useful knowledge, skills and experience
A proven CRM campaign manager who has led a mix of marcomms campaigns with concurrent ownership.
Someone who is intrigued by the possibilities of how to answer problems and challenges through the creative use of direct marketing.
Able to demonstrate how they have designed and managed, through to delivery, campaigns containing a mix of media across BTL and brand.
Creative thinker, but with a logical streak - someone who sees beyond the obvious and challenges convention.
Experience gained in a fast moving, commercial consumer sales/marketing environment, with digital at its heart.
A data enthusiast – someone who understands and can demonstrate that using data can be a creative process too!
Strong team player with proven track record of working cross-functionally, building good relationships with other teams, and senior stakeholders, to foster collaboration.
Understanding of the full marketing mix including both online and offline media channels.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Strong experience of project management, stakeholder management and organisational skills. Must be confident and able to push back where necessary and be very organised!
