The Mission

We are looking for five students interested in journalism, marketing or the likes to spread the word about The Times' Student Subscription and help us reach students with our quality journalism.

The Role

The Times and The Sunday Times are looking for five ambitious students to work as ambassadors within Imperial College London for the UK’s most trusted newspaper.

Applicants will help in organising on campus marketing events, identifying suitable sponsorship opportunities and encouraging students to sign up to their free subscriptions. The student ambassador should be an advocate for the Times Brand and think of innovative ways of making students aware of our quality, trusted newspaper and download their subscription.

Applicants will gain access to our editors and premium events. We will invite successful ambassadors to our London Bridge offices where they can see the workings of The Times and Sunday Times and have intimate meetings with the people that run the paper and journalists who provide our trusted content.

The Person

Ambitious - Willing to go above and beyond and make an impression on contacts at one of the biggest names in media.

Passionate - For media, journalism and genuinely interested in The Times.

Creative - Someone who is able to think outside of the box, push the boundaries and always looking for opportunities to go above and beyond. Someone who can think and work innovatively and independently

Knowledge - Of your local city and university and a strong understanding of what The Times and The Sunday Times stand for.

Unflustered - Ability to think on your feet, face strangers with confidence and challenge yourself in new situations.
